Darren Booth is a Registered Land Surveyor with over 20years of professional experience. He is a member of the NSW Country Surveyors Association, The Institution of Surveyors NSW and the Australian Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute.

He is experienced in Cadastral, Engineering and Mining projects. Such work has included surveying large and complex rural subdivisions, road dedications, land acquisitions and mining leases together with infrastructure projects at power station and mining sites. His experience has also extended to open cut and underground surveys in both coal and metalliferous mines, volumetric assessments, deformation and monitoring surveys.

He is the recipient of several professional awards, namely the Institution of Surveyors (NSW) ‘Barr Prize’ (2005) and ‘Neil Ryan Memorial Prize’ (2006) for rural and urban cadastral surveys, and winner of the 2009 ‘NSW Excellence in Surveying and Spatial Information Cadastral Surveying Award’. In 2011, the NSW surveying profession acknowledged his contributions to the profession awarding him the ‘Sir Thomas Ewing Award’ for North Coast Professional Surveyor of the Year, Professional of the Year at the NSW Excellence in Surveying and Spatial Information Awards and finally, was named as a Finalist in the 2011 Asia Pacific Spatial Excellence (Individual) Awards held in Wellington New Zealand.
